Hog County Amateur Radio Association Radio NET – Script

Does anyone need to use the frequency before I call the Hog County Amateur Radio Association Radio Net with the Club Call of K4HOG? (Yes, ask if they can move to another repeater or join the net. No, then proceed with the script.)
I am Net Control for today’s net session on (Date). My name is (give your name), my call is (Your Call Sign) and I live in (the area of the county), Sumter County, Florida.
This is a general radio net for the purpose of allowing participants to check their equipment, pass along any pertinent information and just general rag-chew. This net meets each Monday evening at 8:00 PM Local Time. This is a Directed Net – please follow the instructions of Net Control and use standard net procedures.
This net meets on the 145.490 MHz Repeater with a tone of 123.0 Hz and is located in Bushnell, Florida. This repeater is owned and operated by Sumter County Emergency Management and we would like to thank them for allowing us to use it.

(Short-time or mobiles get to go first as a courtesy.)
*** Check-ins: Okay, I will take local Sumter County stations first, please give your Call Sign, Name and general QTH. Please speak slowly, I will acknowledge each call and then ask for the next one. Then I will call for anyone on EchoLink or AllStar to check in, please give the time needed for EchoLink to key the repeater and release the repeater remembering there is a little delay. Then one more check for any other check-ins from our surrounding Counties or anywhere.

- Reminder of the Friday Free For All Net on Friday at 8:00 PM on the 147.030 MHz Repeater with a tone of 123.0 Hz.
- Reminder of the Red Oaks Amateur Radio Net on Sunday at 8:00 PM on the 145.490 MHz Repeater with a tone of 123.0 Hz.
- Reminder of the Skywarn Net on Sunday at 8:30 PM on the 147.030 MHz Repeater with a tone of 123.0 Hz.
